Product Details

LIQUID NAILS® Tub Surround & Shower Wall Adhesive (LN-915) provides an exceptional waterproof bond under extreme conditions and won't harm most tub surrounds and shower walls. Light color won't show through surrounds. Recommended for most plastic tub and shower enclosures.

Application Details

Do not apply LN-915 when surface or adhesive temperature exceeds 90°F. Cut nozzle at 45° angle to a 1/8" bead size. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Apply in a continuous 1/8" bead, following the tub surround manufacturer’s instructions. Some tub surround manufacturers require adhesive bead to be spread out with a trowel. Consult tub surround installation instructions for specific recommendations.

It is important for proper installation that each panel be vented according to the following directions. Venting method: Apply LN-915 adhesive and press panel firmly to wall, then pull away. Wait 3-5 minutes, then press panel firmly back into place. For proper adhesion, after 20-30 minutes go around entire tub surround and press firmly over all flat surfaces. If any edges lift up, tape them to the wall with masking tape until adhesive dries. Let cure 24 hours. Bracing may be required.
