Best Practices

Cleaning Interior Wall Paint

Many PPG interior wall paints are specifically formulated for easy washability.

  • Always use a SPONGE to wash your interior wall paint.

  • Never use a rag, paper towel, or any other fabric or paper product to wash your walls.

  • Always use water and mild dishwashing soap to lubricate your sponge and to wash walls.

  • Never use commercial cleaners as they will break down the paint film.

  • Always allow fresh paint to cure for a minimum of 21 days before washing.
